Britney Spears fans have united against photographer, Adnan Ghalib. Ghalib dated Britney for a short time early this year and the pair vacationed in Mexico in January where tapes of Britney doing a striptease were apparently made by Ghalib. What has Britney’s fans riled up is the release of these tapes to the Internet.
Ghalilb was first linked to Britney in December, 2007 when the pair were seen at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. Only a few days later, Ghalib was seen driving with Britney to West Hollywood. He has publicly admitted that he has made thousands of dollars in income by selling Britney pictures as a member of the paparazzi. Now, he is on the other side of the street and the paparrazi, many of whom are colleagues of Ghalib’s, are as relentless as ever in chasing Ghlaib for photo opps.
Adnan Ghalib says he has received death threats from Britney’s angry fans. In April, before news of the sex tapes came out, Adnan Ghalib says he was attacked by a mob of Britney Spears fans who had decided they did not appreciate the influence he had with Britney at the height of her mental health issues. There are reports that he was stabbed during the incident and Ghalib will only say that he was hurt in the altercation. Ghalib has also reportedly recieved calls from all over the world about his relationship wth Britney and the sex tapes. Now he is thinking of selling the tapes to the higest bidder and Britney Spears fans have gone crazy mad over this travesty on their favoriate pop star. Ghalib says he is retreating from the Hollywood scene for a while because of all the bad press and threatening letters he has received.
The whole Britney Spears romance with the photographer and the news about the tapes has given the Ghalib clan lots of problems. Both Ghalib’s parents and sister have moved from thier respective homes to escape the media. Azlynn Berry, Ghalib’s ex-wife says she was chased by a BMW driven by members of the paprazzi hoping to shoot pictures but AzLynn is shunning the spotlight and escaping the media attention.
As devout Muslims, the Ghalib family is dismayed at the antics of their baby boy and meanwhile Adnan Ghalib is laughing all the way to the bank.
